Good grief! (via)

It really has come to something when a congressional bill which merely reaffirms the provisions of the U.S. constitution is considered controversial.

The only reason that this was even necessary was because the Bush administration has made it clear that they do not believe they need congressional approval before taking military action against Iran. Wonder is this decision has caused them to think again?

Well done Democrats.

The US constitution was also in force when they attacked Yugoslavia without congressional approval (or UN for that matter). It was still in force when 3 months had passed & the law requiring the president to get approval for "police action" short of war came into force.

If the US was not even going to make a show of adhering either to its own laws or international ones then I see no reason to expect it now.
