Because I like cliches.
He has many endearing features. The following isn't one of them.
He tends to get slightly impatient if I don't get out of bed at a time he feels is suitable. I'm quite tall so my feet normally stick out of the bottom of the bed when I'm asleep. You see what I'm saying? I can confirm that having a fully grown cat hook himself into your bare feet of a morning is the most effective alarm clock you're ever likely to have the misfortune to experience. Not recommended.
I'm not really sure why I felt the need to share this random fact. I can't imagine anyone will be particularly enthralled by it. Not to worry though, normal(ish) service will return shortly.
